On November 28, Jiayu County, Xianning City was boiling! After three years of construction, the Jiayu Yangtze River Highway Bridge was officially opened to traffic. At this point, all of the provinces along the Yangtze River have entered the "Yangtze River Bridge era".
At 10:18 am, the bridge was officially opened to traffic. Xiantao driver Zuo Zhenghui "checked in" from the Jiayu North Toll Station, galloping across the river: "Yesterday I had to detour to Wuhan by returning to Xiantao, 205 kilometers. Today, only 35 kilometers!"
The Jiayu Yangtze River Highway Bridge is 1,650 meters long. The north bank is Yanwo Town, Honghu City, Jingzhou City, and the south bank is Xinjie Town, Jiayu County, Xianning City. The opening of the bridge closely linked the Mufushan area and the Jianghan Plain, and also helped the Wuhan outer circle to accelerate the circle.
At 9 am, ordinary people in Jiayu County and Honghu City sang waist drums, played dragon lanterns, and danced lions to the bridgehead to celebrate the long-awaited day. Cai Xinzhen, a resident of Xinjie Town, Jiayu County, was very excited: "I'm so happy! I woke up at 4 o'clock. People on both sides of the river have a tradition of marriage. After making an appointment, I went to the bridge to see the cousin of Honghu." Dasha Lake Farm, Honghu City: "It used to be a ferry boat crossing the river, at least 40 minutes and an hour. Now it is finally convenient."
The clouds are hazy, the bridge lies across the vast Yangtze River, like a fairyland, and the main tower of more than 200 meters straight into the clouds. The bridge adopts the standard construction of a six-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 km / h. It is currently the world's largest span asymmetric hybrid cable-stayed bridge. The construction uses full penetration welding technology, single stitching dragon method, and tower beam asynchronous construction method. A number of technologies such as "Bridge Parametric Design BIM System" have won the first prize in the 9th "Innovation Cup" BIM competition in China.
Approved by the provincial government, the standard classification fee for this bridge model is RMB 15 per trip for first-type vehicles and RMB 4 per ton for cargo vehicles. Yang Dengzuo, a vegetable broker in Xiaojiazhou Village, Panjiawan Town, Jiayu County, lamented: "The most expensive one ever used a truck to cross the river cost more than 900 yuan. The opening of the bridge will greatly save logistics costs."
The bridge was constructed by the Provincial Traffic Group, in cooperation with Sichuan Road and Bridge, the Second Public Communications Bureau, the Provincial Transportation Planning and Design Institute, and implemented by Hubei Jiayu Yangtze River Highway Bridge Co., Ltd. Pei Bingzhi, Chief Engineer of Provincial Investment and Trade, said that the construction of transportation infrastructure can significantly reduce the transaction costs of enterprises and affect the production layout. This bridge is a convenient channel connecting the Jianghan Plain to the southeast of China and is of great significance for promoting the economic development of our province.
