29th is Ms. Li Jun's 41st birthday. In the morning of the same day, she and her parents worked at the Wuhan Blood Center, and three of them collectively applied for an organ donation, making Li Jun a memorable birthday.
"This is a loving family that is very cherished. Thanks for having you and making our lives more exciting." In Weibo and WeChat circle of friends, husband Han Haiwei wrote this in a congratulations to his wife Li Jun happy birthday. Road. During the Dragon Boat Festival this year, 45-year-old Han Haiwei, at the Human Organ Donation Management Center of Hubei Province, registered for organ donation and had a meaningful holiday. Under the influence and persuasion of Han Haiwei, Li Jun also agreed to register for organ donation.
"I was going to register before. My husband said that it was better and more meaningful to register on the birthday of December 26." On the 27th, Li Jun, who was working, said that on December 26, he was on holiday on his own and was going to go to Hubei Province for organ Donation management center registration. After the telephone consultation, Li Jun was informed that following the official WeChat public account of Hubei Human Organ Donation Management Center on his mobile phone, he could register online.
What Li Jun didn't expect was that her idea of registering an organ donation to mark her birthday impressed 72-year-old father Li Dad and 68-year-old mother-in-law. Earlier, the two elderly people were going to donate blood to the daughter's Wuhan Blood Center for free. Due to their age, the two elderly people cannot participate in blood donation, but they hope to do something meaningful and hope that they can continue to contribute to society in a hundred years. After seeing her daughter registering for an organ donation, the two elderly people did not hesitate to register online for an organ donation.
"This is a birthday that makes me unforgettable. I think life is particularly valuable." Li Jun said, thanking his family for their understanding, support and participation. Li Jun and her husband Han Haiwei are a combined family. The two married in 2016. "After getting married, I found that my lover, Li Jun, started donating blood in August 2007, and started donating blood 4 years ago. At that time, I didn't know much about unpaid blood donation, and donated blood once every half a month. I support whole blood, but donate blood once every half month. I didn't quite understand it at the time. "Han Haiwei said at that time, he felt that Li Jun's blood donation was too frequent and opposed, but Li Jun insisted as always.
Out of curiosity, one day last February, Han Haiwei and Li Jun walked into the Wuhan Blood Center together. Through chatting with staff, unpaid blood donors, and the explanation from Director Chen Hanwei of the Blood Donation Department of Wuhan Blood Center, Han Haiwei understood the difference between donating blood and whole blood. Since then, Han Haiwei has also become a frequent visitor to Wuhan Blood Center, and has donated blood more than 40 times. Through blood donation, Han Haiwei met many friends who donated blood and registered organ donation. Later, Han Haiwei not only took the initiative to register for organ donation, but also mobilized his lover Li Jun, father-in-law, and mother-in-law to participate in organ donation registration.
To this year, Li Jun has donated blood 113 times, including 98 blood donations and 15 whole blood donations. In May of this year, Li Jun applied to work in Wuhan Blood Center, not only donating blood by himself, but also providing services to unpaid blood donors.
Led by Li Jun and Han Haiwei, two sons Han Wenjie and Xiao Shenghui also participated in the blood donation team. On October 24, Xiao Shenghui went to the Wuhan Blood Center to donate blood and celebrated his 18th birthday with a difference. To date, 22-year-old Han Wenjie has donated blood nearly 10 times, and Xiao Shenghui has donated blood 5 times. They are the first family of four in Wuhan who are all volunteer blood donors.
